Vienna BioCenter PhD Students are registered with either the University of Vienna or with the Medical University of Vienna.

You need to apply for admission in the Natural Sciences (Life Sc.), PhD Doctoral Programme, Molecular Biology, A-794 685 490 (note that the processing of your application can take several weeks).
You apply online, throughout the year, via u:space.
Please note that you have to renew your enrolment every semester (winter semester: 1 Oct - 28 Feb; summer semester: 1 Mar - 30 Sep).
Required documents
For the application process all necessary documents have to be translated, if they are not issued in German or English. This translation has to be done by a court sworn translator after the documents were legalised.

You need to apply for admission in the PhD Programme N094 by filling out and sign the application forms available here. In addition, the following documents have to be submitted:
Applicants with a non-EEA* citizenship submit an "eligibility certification" issued by a registrar´s office of a state-approved university in the country/state where the diploma/master has been issued indicating that the applicant fulfills the requirements for starting PhD studies in the country/state where the diploma/master has been issued. The "eligibility certification" needs a current date of issuing!
Instead of the above-mentioned "eligibility certification" there may also be submitted a diploma supplement (stating the fulfillment of the compliance with the requirements for starting PhD studies) issued by the university which awarded the diploma.
