Travel Grants

This year we are offering a limited number of travel grants to Master students currently studying in Europe. The grant will include economy travel to and from the conference, accommodation and a social programme in the beautiful city of Vienna.

In order to help us identify those to award a grant a motivation letter of approx. 500 words is required when filling in the registration form.  Successful grantees will also present a poster.

If you submit an abstract you can take part in our poster session or the “Science Slam” or both
Info about Science Slam: A science slam session provides a unique opportunity to share your passion for science with others symposium attendees by presenting your research in a form of short (5 min) performance. We give you total freedom: It can be anything from a sketch, comedy, song, dramatized monolog, dance to any other performance or mixture of all. We hope for an engaging session full of creative and unconventional ways of communicating your research! There will be prize for the best poster and the best Slam performance.
