How worms fall asleep


This week in Science a great story by VBC PhD Student Annika Nichols from the Zimmer Lab. 

Two worms can be seen, the top one is sleeping and most of its nerve cells are quiet, the second is awake with its nerve cells vigorously active. Copyright IMP/Annika Nichols
